| PEELANDER-Z was formed by Peelander-Yellow, Peelander-Blue, and Peelander-Red (claim they are from Z area in the Planet Peelander!!) in 1998, and came into action based in NYC. These three dress up in color-coordinated costumes about as if they came out of Japanese Animation (claim those are not costumes, but the skin!!!) put on a fun show . Yes, their performance is not just playing music. Have you heard of human bowling, wrestling and kung-fu action, or funny dance at the punk rock shows? Peelander-Z knows how to entertain the audience by dragging them into the show. One experience would capture you!! Peelander-Z is the best of the universe! Peelander-Z has been appearing not only on the major music festivals like Bonnaroo Music Festival, CMJ and SXSW, but also on the TV programs like Best Week Ever on VH1, Upright Citizens Brigade on Comedy Central and MXC: Most Extreme Challenge on Spike TV, and on Anime Network. Select Start is the fusion of six musicians based in Gainesville, Florida, who combine their mutual love for video games, music, and their instruments (two violins, a cello, guitar, piano, and flute) to create a musical experience and sound unique to the video game music world. First formed in September 2002 in a small college apartment, Select Start premiered the following summer in a well-received open mic performance at The Shamrock, a local Gainesville bar. The show featured pieces from Metroid, The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy 4, and Bubble Bobble. Since then, Select Start's repertoire has grown to over fifty arrangements, and they have performed in dozens of venues from libraries to bars to anime and video game conventions. Along the way, Select Start has garnered fans from all over the world. | CHICKENBOX! started one day in 1996 when Bob Box was driving in traffic. He started screaming and just didn't stop . This made lots of people very angry at Bob. He needed a way to yell at people without making them mad, so he decided to start a band. CHICKENBOX! makes their triumphant return to Anime Supercon due to popular demand. Everyone loves Chickenbox! As i type this, Bob Box , Dick Chick , and Herb, are hard at work at Stinkybox Studios on the 3rd CHICKENBOX! cd. | Samantha Newark is JEM from Jem and the Holograms! Samantha Newark is best known as the beloved voice of JEM and JERRICA of the smash cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon, JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS. Her voice-over credits also include “Transformers”, the feature film “Hook”, “Britney Spears Dance Beat”, “Project A-KO’, Sony Playstation games, and numerous TV projects. Sam is also an accomplished musician, whose original music and stellar vocals can currently be heard on such TV shows as the CWs “Gossip Girl” and “Life Is Wild” also MTV’s “Laguna Beach”, “Punked” and “My Super Sweet Sixteen”.
