EIGHTEEN new bands have just been added to the list of musical guests at Florida Supercon 2013, including: Astari Nite, The Atlas Complex, Crimson, Das Phobia, Deadman's Gambit, DIssever, Dirty Ol' Stayouts, Falseta, Flesh and Stone, The Fuzzlers, Godsend, Joysticks and Quarter Slots, Kill Billy Jack, Koizumi, Riot Agents, Stop The Presses, The Shakers and Urban Rebel. Astari Nite is a New Wave Post Dark band based out of Miami, the group boasts a dark, crystalline sheen- courtesy of The Cure, Depeche Mode and New Order.

The Atlas Complex is a dynamic band with a powerful progressive rock sound. The musical landscapes and textures are created with poly-rhythmical arrangements that are performed in a dynamic presentation. Atlas Complex over the years has evolved into a musical beast, ranging from glistening clean overtones to a powerful sound with strength and dynamics. The group started with acoustically motivated arrangements by incorporating the acoustic guitar, voice and lyrics, piano, violin, bass, and drums.

Crimson was born of the marriage of Elisa Meléndez's songwriting and Evan Lamb's arranging. They began writing & performing together in 2001 and after going through a few line-up changes, the final line-up of Brian Lange on drums, Alex Hoyt on keytar bass & Dave Torre on rhythm guitar added the perfect combo of musicianship and friendship. Elisa Melendez (Lead vocals), Evan Lamb (Lead guitar, backing vocals), Alex Hoyt (Keytar bass, backing vocals), Dave Torre (Rhythm guitar) and Brian Lange (DrumsRock).

Drawing influences from eclectic sources, Das Phobia is Alberto Fontes, Daniel Mesko, Mario Fontes, and Pixie Marie. Das Phobia is a culmination of each of the members' musical influences, including progressive, metal, reggae, indie, and ska.

Deadman's Gambit is a southern metal band.

Dissever is a band writing music for no reason other than to bring something unique to the ears of it’s listeners.

Dirty Ol' Stayouts classic punk style of music is inspired by Social Distortion, The Clash, The Ramones, and Sex Pistols.

Falseta's signature aggressive polyrhythmic sound and melodic voicings make for an unforgettable experience, rivaled only by their live performances

Flesh and Stone is a Modern Metal band from sunny Miami, Florida. their debut EP "This Day is Mine" has grabbed the attention of the Miami metal scene and refuses to let go. Combining melodic vocals, visceral drumming and crunching, catchy riffs, Flesh and Stone is quickly building their own sound and style that is a force to be reckoned with in the metal world.

The Fuzzlers are the worlds greatest Mutant Foamcore band! Created by the mysterious Professor Scientist, The Fuzzlers are the results of the infamous "Substance Experiments".

Four members’ with similar beliefs, trying to awaken the human soul thru music, as our name states, we, along with most, are looking for answers to life’s riddles.

Joysticks & Quarter Slots is a unique, energetic, and kick-ass alternative rock band from South Florida. With shredding guitar solos, in your face drums and catchy melodies, Joysticks & Quarter Slots is sure to leave a lasting impression. After forming in 2010, Joysticks & Quarter Slots quickly realized that the coming together of four minds with similarly eclectic influences would lead to some of the most satisfying and unique music they'd ever created. Their "anything goes" approach to song writing has lead to the creation of a sound that is uniquely their own.

Kill Billy Jack is a four piece Metal/Hardcore band from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Established in mid 2011. Kill Billy Jack has undoubtedly made an impact on the South Florida music scene and has created a cult following. Kill Billy Jack has shared the stage with notable bands such as Lion Heart, Dead Icons, King Conquer, Thick As Blood, Adaliah, Abiotic, Dark Sermon, and many more.

Koizumi is Pop rock with a taste of Japanese influences. They bring a different kind of style to the music world. Raised in music, they really have been doing this "All our lives", without any cliche undertone. Koizumi was founded 2 years ago, when lead singer Josie Cirrito (after releasing her first solo album) teamed with her best friend bassist Kristen Carioti to become partners in crime.

Riot Agents are a cross over punk band from the Hialeah/Miami area that have been part of the South Florida scene since their inception and are showing no signs of slowing down.

Stop the Presses began in 2008 when lead vocalist Ali Culotta met Danny, George and Giz on an online dating website. Needless to say it was a successful match for this foursome. In their quest to bring ska music to the mainstream airwaves again, they began an artistic outpour of songs that would ultimately contain the three most important ingredients for any pop song; catchy choruses, simple song structures, and new wave/punk rock synth and guitar leads.

The Shakers are punk rock and roll. Plain and simple.

Urban Rebel is a groove rock and heavy funk band from Miami, Florida formed in 2007. The band consists of vocalist Will Gonzalez, aka Trip "6", bassist Laszlo Piringer, aka" LaC", guitarist Alex Jose Gonzalez aka "Jim BOB", guitarist Ronny Gutierrez aka "R.G.", DJ Barry GoldWater III and female drummer Elisa Seda, aka "E".
