DIRECTIONS TO THE CONVENTION CENTER & DOUBLETREE HOTEL:
From North: I 95 South to 836 (west) to exit on 57th Ave. going south. Make a right on NW 7th Street and continue straight until you see the hotel on your right.
From South: I 95 North to 836 (west) to exit on 57th Ave. going south. Make a right on NW 7th Street and continue straight until you see the hotel on your right.
From East: Take Hwy 836 East to exit on 57th Ave. going south. Make a right on NW 7th Street and continue straight until you see the hotel on your right.
From West: aka Hwy 836 West to exit on 57th Ave. going south. Make a right on NW 7th Street and continue straight until you see the hotel on your right.
The Florida Turnpike, I-75 and I-95 all connect with 836, which will lead you directly to 57th Ave.
There is complimentary shuttle service from Miami International Airport for hotel guests. Driving directions from the airport: Start out going WEST toward BUS RD. Turn RIGHT onto PERIMETER RD.Turn SLIGHT RIGHT toward EXIT TO CITY/RENTAL CAR RETURN.Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NW 20TH ST.
For those traveling from long distances, there are transportation options through Amtrak, Tri-Rail, and shuttle services. Provided will be estimated costs for the Amtrak and Tri-Rail services, along with directions from the Amtrak to the convention center. Please follow directions from the “Out-of-Town” section.
For those traveling from South Florida, such as West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Miami, the Tri-Rail or the Miami Metrorail may be the best options. If you are traveling from these cities/surrounding areas, you should skip to the directions in the Local section. Please follow directions from the “Local” section.
Out-of-Town:
IMPORTANT: It is strongly recommended that you book your tickets as far in advance as possible for the lowest prices. Waiting until the last minute can raise your ticket costs significantly. You can purchase your tickets online, over the phone, or in person at any Amtrak station. Amtrak recommends arriving to the station at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
Purchase your ticket departing from your nearest Amtrak station to Deerfield Beach, FL. The estimated ticket costs and travel time for Amtrak in major cities are:Jacksonville – $76.00 / 9 hours 38 mins.Orlando – $49.00 / 6 hours 22 minsTampa – $33.00 / 4 hours 8 mins.Lakeland – $33.00 / 3 hours 32 mins.
Once you've arrived at the Deerfield Beach station, board the SOUTHBOUND Tri-Rail train heading to Hialeah Mart/Miami Airport. The cost for the Tri-Rail is approximately $5.65 and the estimated travel time is an hour and 18 minutes.
After your arrival at the Hialeah Market, you must board the free Tri-Rail shuttle 133, which will bring you to Miami Airport. The Tri-Rail shuttle will drop you off at Terminal E on the ground level. There are two ways to get to the Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC) from here:Option A: The Doubletree Hotel (connected to the MACC) provides a 24-hour complementary shuttle service to their hotel, which is directly connected to the MACC. Walk inside of the building, then take an elevator to the second floor, which is the upper (departure) level. You may need to call the hotel at 305-261-3800 if you do not see a shuttle, but they run every 30 minutes.Option B: There are taxis available to bring you from Miami International Airport to the convention center. Taxis can be found on the lower arrival (ground) level and the estimated cost is between $10-15.
Local:
TRAVELING FROM NORTH: For those taking the Tri-Rail living north of the MACC, board the SOUTHBOUND train and get off at the Hialeah Market station.Estimated Tri-Rail costs are:West Palm Beach – $6.90Boca Raton – $5.65Fort Lauderdale – $5.00Golden Glades – $2.50

TRAVELING FROM SOUTH: Those traveling from Dadeland South/North, including South Miami, Coconut Grove, Brickell, Overtown, and Allapattah, need to take the NORTHBOUND Miami Metrorail. The fare is $2.00. Take the Orange Line Metrorail towards Miami International Airport. You will be dropped off by the rental car station. Board the MIA Mover, which will take you to the airport's third floor.
From here, there are two ways to get to the Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC) from Miami Airport:Option A: The Doubletree Hotel (connected to the MACC) provides a 24-hour complementary shuttle service to their hotel, which is directly connected to the MACC. Take an elevator to the second floor, which is the upper (departure) level. You may need to call the hotel at 305-261-3800 if you do not see a shuttle, but they run every 30 minutes.Option B: There are taxis available to bring you from Miami International Airport to the convention center.
