
Dino Stamatopoulos may be most recognized as one of the stars of Community on NBC ("Star Burns"), but animation fans will know him as the creator, writer, director and executive producer of Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole and Morel Orel.
Dino began his career as a writer for The Ben Stiller Show before joining the writing staff of Late Night with Conan O'Brien. During the '90s he wrote for Late Show with David Letterman, The Dana Carvey Show and Mr. Show with Bob and David. In 2000 Dino and Robert Smigel pitched Comedy Central a spin-off of Smigel's TV Funhouse SNL cartoons which would be a half-hour sketch comedy show. TV Funhouse premiered on 2000. Following TV Funhouse he joined the writing staff on Mad TV.
Dino worked on Tom Goes to the Mayor with Mr. Show alumnus Bob Odenkirk. He created the stop motion animated series Moral Orel for Adult Swim as well as Mary Shelley's Frankenhole. He was the voice of Drinky Crow on The Drinky Crow Show, as well as a writer for Important Things with Demetri Martin and Lucky Louie.
Since 2009, Stamatopoulos has been appearing as "Star-Burns" on the NBC comedy series Community. He is also a consultant and writer on the show. He co-wrote the stop motion animation Christmas special.
Dino will be in attendance Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
