HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS
We’ve taken proactive steps and implemented guidelines and requirements based on current CDC Guidelines, local public health guidance and the input of our venue partners to help support a safe and comfortable experience. Our team is constantly reviewing the Florida Supercon requirements. Please check this page often for the most up-to-date information.
Please read below for more details on our requirements, frequently asked questions, important public resources and what you can expect at Florida Supercon.
DAILY HEALTH MONITORING
All participants are asked to review and confirm they are able to comply with the Health & Safety Acknowledgement prior to entering Florida Supercon, including ensuring that they are not currently experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19. Anyone who is not feeling well or begins to experience symptoms at any time during Florida Supercon should contact and follow the guidance of their physician. No one is permitted entry to Florida Supercon who is not in full compliance with the health & safety requirements and the Health & Safety Acknowledgement.
SANITIZATION AND HYGIENE
Florida Supercon has worked closely with Miami Beach Convention Center to implement cleaning and sanitization standards that meet or exceed the recommendations of the CDC. It is the responsibility of everyone to maintain personal hygiene, including washing your hands frequently.
FOLLOW ALL SIGNAGE AND DIRECTION FROM STAFF
Please adhere to all signage and direction from all staff, including our Safety Ambassadors. We have adjusted our layout and implemented exhibitor recommendations with the wellbeing of our guests in mind. Operational adjustments may occur throughout the event.
COMPLY WITH THE CODE OF CONDUCT
Please be aware of and respect the personal boundaries of your fellow participants so that everyone can enjoy their time at Florida Supercon.
FACE COVERINGS RECOMMENDED
In accordance with public health guidance, we recommend participants wear a face covering while attending Florida Supercon. Face coverings may be required per our guests' requests at specific autographing tables or for specific panels. We encourage our participants to follow CDC Guidelines regarding face coverings and maintain up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations and ask that anyone who is not up-to-date wear a face covering. HEALTH & SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Please ensure that you have reviewed any advisories or restrictions that may be in place for travel to the United States and for travel to the city and state of the event.
Please be advised that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any event or public space, including the event. Prior to registering for and attending the event, please ensure you have read the latest CDC Guidelines for Prevention. By attending the event, you acknowledge this inherent risk on behalf of yourself and/or any Minor attending the event for which you serve as Guardian (collectively, “You”) and, as a condition of entering the event, You acknowledge, understand and confirm each of the following in accordance with applicable health guidelines:
- That You will abide by all terms of admission and participation (as may be updated from time to time) and event health-and-safety requirements, including wearing an approved face covering at all times, and, where applicable, providing proof of compliance with any entry requirements;
- That You are not currently experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19, as identified at CDC.gov, including, but not limited to:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- That prior to attending the event You have not been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a CDC-recommended quarantine; and
- That You are not under any self-quarantine or isolation orders or subject to any CDC self-quarantine or isolation protocol.
For purposes of this acknowledgement, a “Minor” means any individual who under eighteen (18) years of age or has not reached the age of majority as defined by such individual’s jurisdiction of residence, and a “Guardian” means such Minor’s parent or legal guardian or other individual attending the Event who is over the age of eighteen (18) and acting in loco parentis for such Minor. Please see the event’s terms of participation to confirm the age requirements for entry.
Please do not enter the event or the event venue if You cannot confirm all of the above criteria. If at any point during Your time at the event You do not meet all of the above criteria, You will be required to isolate and may be relocated or asked to leave the venue at the sole discretion of event management.
Please note: The guidelines in this document are based on information currently available regarding the behavior and characteristics of the COVID-19 virus, public health information and local or state guidelines with respect to large gatherings. As more clarity with respect to these variables emerges, it is expected that these guidelines may need to be adjusted accordingly.
FLORIDA SUPERCON FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Face coverings are recommended in accordance with public health guidance. Face coverings may be required per guests' request at specific autographing tables or for specific panels. We will communicate pre-show and onsite which autographing tables and panels will require face coverings. We ask that anyone who is not up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccinations wear a face covering while attending Florida Supercon. You can view our face covering guidelines here.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds. You can click here to view our terms of service for participation in Florida Supercon. Please ensure you are free from COVID-19 symptoms prior to traveling.
Florida Supercon show management partners closely with MBCC, local, state, and federal health authorities to maintain a robust operational plan designed to maximize the health and safety of everyone. These Include:
- Strict sanitization and cleaning procedures
- Hand sanitizing stations
- Layout design and spaces to promote a safe experience
- Exhibitor guidelines and booth design standards
- Reduced contact transactions

Everyone in attendance at Florida Supercon is expected to fully comply with terms of service for participation in Florida Supercon, including all health and safety requirements. Acknowledging the requirements and agreeing to comply is a condition of entry (See the Health & Safety Acknowledgement). A health & safety contact phone number will be clearly noted on signage throughout Florida Supercon to allow for reporting of any concerns or issues.
Show management may remove, ban or revoke the badge without refund of anyone who fails to comply or impacts the safety or security of the Event, each in show management’s sole and absolute discretion

If you have reason to believe you currently have COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19, you should not attend Florida Supercon and consult your physician, including if these conditions emerge while you are at the show. Please review our Health & Safety Acknowledgement each day prior to attending Florida Supercon to ensure you can comply with all of the requirements therein.
