Important Locations

Is there a quiet place I can go to get away from the crowd?

Yes! Florida Supercon has a Quiet Room for those who need a break from the Show Floor, due to personal preservation, social anxiety or health issues. Strict volume levels will be enforced, as this is for resting, not socializing.

Is there a family room?

There sure is. The family room is a dedicated area, with some tables and chairs, where parents and their small children can hang out.

Is there an All-Gender Restroom?

Yes, the All-Gender Restrooms are located in the Main Lobby.

Is there a place where I can change into my cosplay?

Cosplay Central has cosplay changing rooms. PLEASE do not change into your cosplay in the bathrooms. Leave those available for people who have… urgent… business to attend to.

Where is there First Aid?

A wheelchair-accessible first aid station staffed by EMS and EMTs can be found in Lobby C. If you’re hurt, please reach out to Florida Supercon Staff or Crew and we’ll get you the help you need.

Other Useful Information

Why don’t you clear the rooms after a panel or screening?

Due to fire code, and the short breaks between programming, Supercon does not clear rooms between sessions. You are allowed to stay in the same room for multiple sessions. Because Supercon does not clear rooms, we suggest you plan accordingly and arrive early to the panels you'd like to see. Supercon Staff reserves the right to clear a room if unique circumstances comes up.

A room was full when I got there, so now I can’t see a panel. What do I do?

Due to supply and demand and the limited number of seats available, unfortunately not everyone will get to see all the panels.

Can I take pictures/video at the show?

For the most part, you're welcome to take still pictures and video at Florida Supercon; however, please note that all photography and recording is prohibited during screenings and concerts. Also, please understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs with fans. Guests have a right to their privacy, and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.
