About The Show

Supercon is an annual three day pop culture convention that celebrates comic books, animation, cartoons, anime, video games, cosplay, fantasy, sci-fi, pop culture and all things geek! It is the largest event of its kind in South Florida.

At Florida Supercon, your health and safety are our top priorities. We’ve implemented new guidelines and policies to help support a safe experience. Every attendee, including fans, exhibitors, artists, guests, crew, and staff, are expected to comply with our health and safety requirements. You can read full Health & Safety information here.

Hours And Location

Florida Supercon takes place July 12 - July 14, 2024 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Florida Supercon takes place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive Miami Beach, FL 33139.

The Miami Beach Convention Center is minutes away from Miami Beach in the heart of a thriving cultural scene.

Hours will be updated closer to the show, but general show hours are:

  • Friday: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

  • Saturday: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM 

Pick up your badges at the show at Will Call, typically located in Hall D of the MBCC. Will Call hours will be updated closer to the show.

Tickets

Tickets to Florida Supercon vary in price. Head to this page for more information about tickets, packages, and deadlines.

All attendees six-years-old and up need a ticket to enter Supercon. Kids 6-12 or their parents must purchase a Supercon Kids ticket to attend the show. Kids ticket are only valid for children ages 6-12. For those 13 and over, purchase of an adult ticket is required. Please be prepared to show proof of age onsite. Please note: all minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian.

If you purchase your ticket(s) on or before the ticket mailing deadline (April 21, 2024) your ticket(s) will be mailed via USPS to the address you enter. International orders will have the option to mail their tickets or pick them up at Will Call. If you purchase your ticket after the ticket mailing deadline, you will have to wait in line at Will Call to pick up your tickets.

Once you buy your Supercon 2024 ticket, it's yours to have and to hold forever. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for tickets purchased for Supercon.

While some vendors might accept credit cards, many do not. There are ATMs located at the Miami Beach Convention Center; however, to avoid an extra line at Supercon we suggest you stop at the ATM before arriving at the show. Cash is usually the only form of payment accepted in our Autographing Area. If you want to buy Photo Ops during the show instead of ahead of time, please be prepared by bringing cash for this as well, just in case Epic Photo Ops does not take cards.

For those purchasing Florida Supercon Merchandise: All domestic and international merchandise purchased during registration before the ticket mailing deadline (April 21, 2024) will ship with your ticket purchase! Merchandise purchased after April 21, 2024 will be picked up onsite. Instructions for onsite pick up will be sent out via email prior to the show. 

International Shipping: Available for any order shipping outside the US. (DHL) Please note: Merchandise will not be shipped if purchased after the ticket mailing deadline. Merchandise purchased after that date can be picked up onsite at the Florida Supercon Official Merch Store.

Lost And Found

Please bring all found items to Lost & Found in the Main Lobby. If you're looking for something that you lost, please check the Security Office.

Safety And Security

The safety and security of our Staff, exhibitors and attendees is our priority. We work closely with the venue, corporate security, state, local and federal law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our events. We have appropriate policies in place that cover safety, harassment, weapons, props, lost children, and everything in between.

Safety And Security Policies

Harassment of any kind, including stalking, deliberate intimidation, unwelcome physical attention, physical assault and battery, will not be tolerated at Supercon. If it’s illegal outside the convention center, it’s illegal inside the convention center. Harassment is grounds for removal from the convention without refund as well as potential legal action. We want Supercon to be a safe, open and accepting environment for all fans, and if you find yourself victim of harassment at the convention please notify a Staff or Crew member immediately so we may assist. You may also come to an info booth or report the incident via the Florida Supercon App.

Photo Ops & Autographing

Photo Ops generally go on sale a couple of months before Florida Supercon. You will be able to find Photo Ops pricing and the full schedule on our website as soon as it is available. We will announce when it is live in our newsletter and on our social media pages. Once available, you will be able to purchase Photo Ops prior to Florida Supercon via a designated sales page. Photo Ops will range in cost from approximately $30-$100 or more, depending on how many guests are participating in the Photo Op. Prices, times, and guests are subject to change and do not include taxes or fees. You are welcome to have up to 4 individuals and any children under 3 per Photo Op ticket (not counting the celebrities). Sales during will be cash or credit card but we do encourage you to pre-purchase Photo Ops as sessions can sell out quickly at Florida Supercon.

 

You will be able to find Autographing pricing and the full schedule on our website as soon as it's available. If Autographs are available for pre-purchase at Florida Supercon, we'll announce when sales are live in our newsletter and on our social media pages. Autographs may range in cost from approximately $20 – $100+ per  Autograph. Our Autograph guests may provide 8x10s for Autographing and will also Autograph an item you present to them, such as a comic book, photograph, or other media/memorabilia. Autograph guests reserve the right to limit how many items they will sign for you and what they will sign. It's up to their discretion at the time of the signing. Autograph pre-purchases are able to be purchased with a credit card. Autographs at the show are cash only and credit cards are not accepted.

 

You can either print out your confirmation ticket with the scannable code and bring it to the Autograph line during any scheduled session, or have your ticket available on your phone. We will scan the code on the ticket at that time. Autographing is located in the back of the Show Floor.

Autographs that were pre-purchased are not able to be refunded, unless that guest has cancelled. If you'd like to find out about a Photo Op refund, you can reach out directly to Epic Photo Ops.

Fans are welcome to bring gifts for guests. However, we do have some guidelines. Guests will not be able to accept any gifts in Photo Ops. Fans can bring gifts to the Autographing Table where it can be given to the guest or passed along to the guest's handler for the guest to receive later. Guests will not accept food or drink items and outside alcohol is not allowed in the building. For all other gifts, our standard safety policies apply. When working on a gift for a guest, please remember that guests travel to events and are limited with what they can bring back with them. Any big or oversized gifts will most likely be left behind.

No. The only animals permitted in the Convention Center are service animals. We love animals as much as you, but you are going to have to leave your pets at home.

 

The entire Supercon Team is committed to making sure that all of our fans have an amazing experience. Please take inventory of your needs as they pertain to attending the show. Depending on what you need, our ADA Assistance Program may be for you. Reedpop events provide ADA assistance to individuals who may have mobility, physical, vision, hearing, cognitive, psychological, invisible or other types of disabilities.

Important Locations

Yes! Florida Supercon has a Quiet Room for those who need a break from the Show Floor, due to personal preservation, social anxiety or health issues. Strict volume levels will be enforced, as this is for resting, not socializing. We’ll update the location closer to the show.

 

There sure is. The family room is a dedicated area, with some tables and chairs, where parents and their small children can hang out. We’ll update the location closer to the show.

Cosplay Central has cosplay changing rooms. PLEASE do not change into your cosplay in the bathrooms. Leave those available for people who have… urgent… business to attend to.

A wheelchair-accessible first aid station staffed by EMS and EMTs can be found in Lobby C. If you’re hurt, please reach out to Florida Supercon Staff or Crew and we’ll get you the help you need.

Other Useful Information

Due to fire code, and the short breaks between programming, Supercon does not clear rooms between sessions. You are allowed to stay in the same room for multiple sessions. Because Supercon does not clear rooms, we suggest you plan accordingly and arrive early to the panels you'd like to see. Supercon Staff reserves the right to clear a room if unique circumstances comes up.

 

Due to supply and demand and the limited number of seats available, unfortunately not everyone will get to see all the panels.

 

For the most part, you're welcome to take still pictures and video at Florida Supercon; however, please note that all photography and recording is prohibited during screenings and concerts. Also, please understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs with fans. Guests have a right to their privacy, and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.

 

Florida Supercon will attract local, national and international press. In purchasing this badge and in consideration for being admitted to the event, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Holder also hereby: (1) releases Reed Exhibitions from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (2) authorizes and permits Reed Exhibitions and its designees which include but are not limited to all sponsors, exhibitors and contractors to use and authorize the use of his/her name, voice, likeness and all reproductions thereof by any means and in all media now and hereafter know for all purposes worldwide in perpetuity; and (3) agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of the event. Holder agrees not to make any recordings of any kind at designated activities without the express written permission of Reed Exhibitions. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the event facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the event.

 

If you plan to bring a stroller, that's fine as long as it is not an oversized stroller. An oversized stroller is one that is a double wide or stackable one intended for 2 children.

Tickets and/or badges ("Badges") for the event ("Event") are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be reproduced, resold or upgraded. The unauthorized resale or attempted resale of the Badge is prohibited and will constitute a forfeiture of the Badge without compensation. Each Badge must be used by the same person (the "Attendee") for each day of the Event. The Event's operating hours, schedules, guests and speakers are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Each Badge is a revocable license to attend the Event. All panels, Autographing, Photo Ops, special events, show features and performances are subject to availability and access is not guaranteed and/or may require an additional fee. Reedpop is not responsible for lost or stolen Badges. There are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness to Attendees of the Event and that not all such hazards or risks can be fully eliminated. By accepting this Badge (at time of purchase) and attending the Event, the Attendee freely and voluntarily agrees to assume the full risk of bodily injury or property damage, regardless of severity, or death that Attendee may sustain as a result of attending the Event, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of Reedpop.
